Breakfast each morning was tasty, and the team looking after us in the calm dining area were great. The rooms were exceptionally clean and quiet given the location, and the staff were friendly and attentive to details. Dan deserves a shout-out for his particularly good service. The location is great too.

Gurdy knew all sorts of tips about the game and the football players, and my son was thrilled to meet his idol. That was a highlight of our two-night stay at the Premier Inn London Angel in Islington while we were in town for the Arsenal–Liverpool game. The room was spacious and very clean, and the service was outstanding. Chef Alina made excellent food for the breakfast buffet, with Gizena, Georgie, and James always hands-on and looking after us so well. Thanks to everyone, we had a great time and an unforgettable stay.

The hotel and room themselves were fine, and one woman working in the restaurant in the morning was helpful and attentive. My problem was with the prepaid booking and the front desk. I had reserved three rooms through Agoda, but on arrival I was told I had to pay for all three in full or they could not check us in because the hotel had received no payment from Agoda. I paid, expecting a refund later, and asked the front desk to contact Agoda. I also gave a staff member my email so I could get updates without having to keep stopping by the desk. The next day, Agoda told me the hotel had confirmed a refund would be arranged, possibly in three batches. Three weeks after checkout, I had received a refund for just one room and lost 3% to a credit card fee. There was still no word about the other two refunds. The hotel had not replied to my email, even after I sent another one a week earlier. The three front desk staff I dealt with were unhelpful and kept passing responsibility around. If you need help from the front desk with an issue, don't get your hopes up.

The way the staff dealt with my problem stood out more than the hotel's convenient location, just two minutes from the business centre. I booked at the last minute after being invited to a medical innovation conference, and Alice🤍 and Keshan were welcoming when I checked in that evening and helped resolve it. Dan responded kindly to my request the next day and offered a solution. I'm sincerely grateful to all three. I work in a hospital, where I try to do more than give patients information and actually resolve their concerns. I know that can make the work harder, but the results are worth it. That's the same kind of care I experienced here, through people's actions as well as their words. I also appreciate management's approach to service. Notices in the room let guests choose options that can help the environment. I don't see a need for towels to be changed every day, and this was the first hotel where I was offered the choice to skip daily towel changes to save water. They also let guests sort waste for recycling. I hope details like these influence customers and encourage more businesses to see the value of such initiatives. Thank you for the experience.
