Botany Bay Hotel

Getting to Botany Bay beach was easy, safe and close by. We were there over New Year with our newborn and cocker spaniel, and even with a big event at the hotel on New Year’s Eve, we heard no noise and slept well. The family room was large, clean, warm and well equipped, including a decent coffee machine. The ensuite was clean too, and the water pressure was excellent for a warm bath. Service was great from arrival through the bar, restaurant and catering, and the food we tried was very good, with a gastropub style that suited the cold days. The TV was small and had trouble connecting, so it was hard to watch from bed. We used an iPad instead, which connected well thanks to the good Wi-Fi.

I had a business meeting here, and the staff went above and beyond to find me a quiet spot for it. They were friendly and attentive, the room was lovely, and the food was really good. I’ll book again when I’m in the area. This is how hotels should be.

Waking up to the sea views was a perfect start to the day, and breakfast was lovely. The hotel was spotless, with warm, friendly service. Toni at reception was especially welcoming and helpful. We had a fantastic stay at the Botany Bay Hotel and would definitely return.

The location is fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. We booked a table for a family meal, and the food was really nice. The staff were rushed off their feet but still attentive, friendly and welcoming. Considering how busy the kitchen must have been, we didn’t wait too long. Would highly recommend.
