Breakfast was the standout, with plenty of cereals and a hot cooked meal made to order. The staff looked after us so well, and Mathew gave us a warm welcome, showed us to our room and pointed out the breakfast room and lounge with its honesty bar. It was our first time staying here, and the location made it easy to enjoy Keswick and the walks. Our room was spotless, warm and had a great view. There was plenty of tea and coffee for the stay, and the bed was cosy and really comfortable. The bathroom and shower were on the small side, but warm and functional, and there was lots of wardrobe and drawer space. We were very impressed and would definitely stay again. Thank you.

The lounge with its honesty bar was a nice place to sit, and the rooms felt modern and lovely. The bed seemed to be just a double, so a little small for two. It's a lovely traditional B&B in a good location. Staff were friendly and the service was good, and breakfast was great. Parking is on the street, which can mean circling a few nearby roads to find a space, though it wasn't a major problem.

The old building has thin walls, so we could hear toilets flushing, pipes and faint voices from other rooms. We knew about that from earlier reviews, and it didn't disturb us this time. The rest of the stay was really lovely. Matthew, the front of house supervisor, welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showed us around and took us to our room. The rooms were well kept, cosy and comfortable, especially the beds. Breakfast was served quickly in a lovely setting, and the hotel is very close to the centre. Parking nearby was difficult because there's no parking at the hotel. We'd happily book again.

A pleasant enough place for one night, and it seems popular with returning guests. The house is nice and sits on a quiet road. The room was clean and quiet, though small and a bit cramped, particularly for a 6ft 2 man. The bathroom had nice toiletries, and breakfast was a good vegan one with vegan milk and butter provided. Check-in is only available from 4 to 7, and checkout is by 11 with no waiting around.

A lovely place to stay, with really nice owners and staff. The rooms were spotless and had everything you need, plus a bit more. Breakfast was great too. Many thanks 👍
