Glen Clova Hotel

Such a beautiful setting, which made the service all the more disappointing. We stopped in for coffee and the woman serving us was terribly rude. She left the coffees on a table inside even though we were sitting outside in the sun, and didn’t tell us they were ready. We had to go in and get them ourselves. The service was absolutely horrific.

We were made to feel welcome from beginning to end during our two-day stay. Every staff member we met went out of their way to make things comfortable and personal. We got married at the Clova Hotel over the festive period, with a small wedding of 16 adults plus kids, and had a fabulous time. The location and food were lovely too, but the staff made the experience especially good.

We stayed in one of the lodges and it was 10/10. Dinner and drinks at the hotel were just as good. Great value, great service, and a great place. These guys are doing an amazing job, and I’ll be coming back. Just incredible, highly recommend.

Wallace lodge was fabulous, and the sauna and hot tub were spot on. It’s a stunning place for a break where you can get away from it all, with excellent walks nearby. The hotel was friendly and welcoming, especially Jenny, who was sadly leaving. Good luck to her! Highly recommend.
