Seaview House Bed & Breakfast

I was here for two nights for a wedding, and the place was great. Carol was welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast was so good, I’ll definitely come back.

There’s a handy parking area outside with room for five or six cars. We stayed because of a nearby wedding, and the rooms were lovely and very clean. Carol was so helpful whenever I needed to get in touch. Breakfast was lovely, with the fry made fresh to order, and the service was great. Nothing was a problem. We’d recommend staying here for a wedding or other event, or as a stop before taking a boat.

It’s well placed for the port, and traffic on the street is moderate. A nice pub restaurant is only a five minute walk away. My single room was cozy, with several tall windows and nice shades. There was plenty of daylight, but the room could be made completely dark too.

Breakfast was delicious, and the host was very friendly. The rooms are small but well appointed, with complimentary tea, coffee and snacks, plus free WiFi. Seaview House is on a quiet street just outside the town centre, with a spacious car park across the road and only limited parking in front of the guesthouse. It’s convenient for the ferry, with the terminal just around the corner. The rooms are reached only by stairs, so anyone with mobility issues should let the host know in advance.
