I wouldn't recommend this place. The owner offered a refund as soon as I called to say I wasn't happy, but after I left and stayed elsewhere, they stopped answering my calls and emails. I still haven't received it. I stayed one night on 26 December 2025, and the bathroom was a mess, with a dirty shower and an unpleasant smell. There were no towels, the TV remote barely worked, and I found a handful of hair in the bin. Travelodge costs a little less and is much better quality. These people aren't honest, so don't bother.

A clean, neat and affordable guest house, suitable for one person or a family. Good service, and there's a fridge, TV and kitchen available.

The rooms are okay, but the whole house was cold all day because there was no heating on. They could really do with being warmer.

In December, there was no hot water, and the heating wasn't working either.

It felt very homely, and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast had a good, healthy selection. You were managing everything on your own, and still brought a great sense of humor to the breakfast table. My daughter even got a brand new toilet brush for her university room because we'd forgotten to buy one. Thank you so much. We'll definitely come back.
