The Heath Inn

The Indian food looked delicious, so I’d like to come back and try it. We ate elsewhere that evening. Breakfast was okay, though the beans were cold and the mushrooms didn’t seem cooked; the sausages, bacon and eggs were hot. My room was clean, warm and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, although the water pressure seemed a little low. I stayed overnight and had a pleasant visit.

The owner was really friendly, and the service was great for a reasonable price. We had a superb evening meal during our overnight stay. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, with a nice feel to it. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff are friendly and happy to help with anything. We’ve been twice now, and both visits have really impressed us. The Indian food is full of flavour and clearly made fresh on site. We’ve found our new local.

Oz replied quickly to my emails when my daughter left her jacket in one of the rooms, and helped post it back to us. That was great service. We’ve stayed at the Heath Inn four times now, and the clean, comfortable rooms work well for our family gatherings, especially with the pub and restaurant attached. The new owners made us feel very welcome, and we enjoyed the food too. See you again next year.
