We’re so glad we found this little gem just a short way from central Lincoln, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The room was immaculate and full of character. Breakfast was a homemade continental spread with plenty of options. The couple who own and run the guest house made us feel completely at home. They’re warm, welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They went the extra mile to make our birthday weekend special and memorable. Thank you both!

It’s a peaceful place with a personal feel, and we had a wonderful stay. The couple who own it were warm, genuine and kind, making us feel like guests in a home rather than visitors at a hotel. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. The ancient place is charming, with plenty of character, history and cosy beauty. Highly recommended.

The guest house is beautifully decorated and has a unique feel. Breakfast had a massive selection, with lots of thought put into the food, including homemade jams. The couple who run the place are hands-on, and nothing is too much trouble. They were perfect hosts throughout our stay. We’d certainly return. I can’t compliment them enough. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hosts made my birthday trip. Anna and Ian were so welcoming, and they know the area well. Breakfast was lovely too. On the morning itself, they left chocolates and a card outside my room, then we had a really nice chat over breakfast. I won't forget that kindness. Creston Villa is a charming, characterful place, and my room was spotless. It even had its own little trolley with complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate. I'd happily recommend it to anyone staying in Lincoln.

Anna and Iain are such warm, kind hosts, and the guesthouse has a lovely, quirky feel. I stayed in the Victorian room, surrounded by interesting antiques, yet everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed, including good wifi, tea, coffee, water and snacks. You can also help yourself to milk and cookie bars in the breakfast room whenever you like. The continental breakfast is worth getting up for, even if breakfast isn't usually your thing. Don't miss Anna's homemade jams, or her chutneys with cold cuts, and there's a delicious oatie cookie to take with you. The heating worked really well, so you can get the room properly toasty. The location is in a green area, about a 15-20 minute walk straight down the high street to the city centre, with plenty of buses there too. I stayed overnight for work and am already daydreaming about coming back for a romantic break. Wholeheartedly recommend.
