The check-in took more than an hour, and the room was unclean. There was no hot water at the bath washbasin, the heaters didn't work, and the room was cold. The people I spoke to on the phone for help were rude and useless. This was the worst hotel experience of my whole life. I absolutely would not recommend anyone book here.

Conor was extremely helpful, and the price was comfortably within my budget. The room was spotless and modern, with a comfy bed and everything we needed. It was beautiful, too, and less than a five-minute walk to the city centre. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I’ll definitely come back and would recommend staying here.

I booked through Booking.com six weeks ago for 12 older gentlemen. I emailed several times to ask about wheelchair access and got no reply. We paid the balance five days ago, but no check-in instructions arrived. One phone number I was given wasn't in service, and the other went unanswered. Then at 9pm last night, less than 24 hours before the stay was due to start, someone contacted me to say they were full and cancelled our booking. The only alternative they offered was to split the group, with half staying five miles outside the city centre. I explained that we were visiting from out of town, had no transport, and that some people had mobility issues, but they offered no help. Now 12 gentlemen are arriving in Liverpool this morning with paid accommodation but nowhere to stay, and we'll have to pay again at last-minute rates. This company is an absolute joke. Disgraceful customer service. Please don't use this place.

I booked four days ahead but was left outside all day, and never received any booking details. When I arrived, they still kept me waiting outside. Eventually I got frustrated and booked another nearby hotel. I suspect some kind of organised fraud, where they take online payment and then tell you different stories when you show up and call. I spent five hours on my feet with nothing sorted. Heartless people.
