We had Sunday lunch, two courses, in the restaurant and couldn't fault the food. It has a good menu and a contemporary feel, with a pre-theatre option as the hotel is also near the theatre. The hotel has an ocean liner theme and good decor. It's a pleasant stay in an ideal location, right in central Liverpool, beside Lime street station and with its own car park. The rooms are adequate and comfortable. Some noise is to be expected in the city centre, especially next to the station.

The hotel was better than we expected, with helpful, friendly reception staff, good facilities and a great theme. It's very close to central Liverpool and has a free car park next door. The rooms aren't especially memorable, but they're clean, well kept and have the facilities you'd expect in a standard room. I'd gladly stay again.

The breakfast choice was really good and plentiful. The woman serving it did a remarkable job on her own after her colleague called in sick. She kept the tables clean and topped up the food without being asked. All the staff were polite and helpful, and thanks to everyone who made our stay enjoyable. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a deluxe cabin for our three-night break in Liverpool. It came with a bathrobe, slippers, complimentary water and cookies, a pod coffee machine as well as the usual tea and coffee facilities, plus shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. Everything was replenished each day, unlike in some hotels where the free items are only provided on arrival. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is beside Lime Street Station, and the bus station and shops are both about a 5-7 minute walk away. Great value. I'd recommend it and would return next time I'm in Liverpool.

The rooms were very clean and the location is excellent. I couldn't tell you who thought the deluxe cabin bathrooms needed classic 1970s decor, but it doesn't change my answer: yes, I'd recommend the hotel to people I want to stay friends with.

We checked out smoothly after a fantastic stay, and the room was great value. The night staff were all wonderful. We were also glad to have free parking next door. Breakfast was served buffet-style on the first floor, and the quality was up with the best I've had, including the Grosvenor in Chester and the Radisson Edwardian in London. The bacon was smoky with crisp fat, the sausages tasted meaty with a nice bite, and the fried eggs had properly cooked whites and runny yolks. The mushrooms were lovely, as were the crisp mini hash browns. I skipped the scrambled egg because there was no room left on my plate. You can tell I like my food. The coffee machines served a wide range of freshly made Douwe Egberts drinks. Since we went at Christmas, the attentive waitress was pouring prosecco for anyone who wanted some. We ate at the in-house Seven Seas Brasserie. The food was excellent quality, well portioned and very good value, and crackers were on the table. The room was nicely appointed, with crisp white sheets and duvet cover, a kettle, a separate coffee machine and a TV on the wall facing the bed. They'd provided slippers and a robe, plus free cookies, water and milk in the fridge, probably as part of the upgrade. The bed and mattress gave us one of the best night's sleep we've had in a long time. The blackout curtains were so effective that opening them in the morning made us squint. We stayed one night on 23/12/25. Reception was pleasant, with free mince pies and chocolates laid out, and we got a room 'bump' to a deluxe.
