The elderly woman in the breakfast room was the friendliest person on site. Everything else was appalling, and I won’t return. The room was disgusting, with mould all over the bathroom, stained carpets, blonde hairs on the bed, a hole in the bedding, and an astonishing amount of dust. Breakfast was a letdown too: out-of-date yoghurts were being served, which I consider a massive food poisoning risk, and the pastries were stale. The overall quality was really low. When I raised the cleanliness problems at reception, crinella/cruella was rude and abrupt and kept dismissing my concerns. Her explanation was that the cook and cleaner were the same person and that she worked very hard, but the state of the room didn’t support that. She needs to learn how to give good customer service. With someone like her, I can see other people never wanting to return. I’d welcome the manager contacting me directly to discuss this complaint further. Please avoid this place.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com in late September, but the app had a technical issue and made it look as though the reservation hadn’t gone through, so I booked somewhere else. Later I found out that this hotel had processed both the booking and payment. I asked the hotel for a refund and explained what had happened with the app. Booking’s customer service assisted me and said the hotel already had my payment but was refusing to return it. Hotel staff had told me they wouldn’t process the booking or payment because of Booking’s mistake, then ignored my follow-up emails. I consider this fraudulent practice and have no confidence in their customer service beyond taking your money. Businesses acting this way shouldn’t be supported. I’m reposting this because they required Google to delete my previous review instead of addressing the practices I described.

The room and bed were just the right size, and I had a wonderful stay. The restroom was a bit small, just a heads-up, but not enough to spoil the review.

A family friend stayed here because it’s close to us. The place was sufficiently clean, but the bathroom door stuck and our friend had a mini panic attack. She also complained about the shower head, and the response was, “well it is what it is”. I’d recommend it if you need somewhere in an emergency, but wouldn’t expect much.
