Glendale Hyde Park Hotel

There’s no restaurant, but Shelia's cafe and bizzaros Italian are right nearby and both were great. I booked a double room with a window, and it was clean and a decent size for central London. I’ve heard they also have tiny rooms, so check the photos before booking. The location is fantastic, the price seemed reasonable for it, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just be aware there’s no lift and parts of the stairs are narrow. I managed my suitcase up to the fourth floor, but it’s something to consider.

There’s no lift, though I didn’t mind the extra workout 😀. I stayed at Glendale hotel for 6 nights and found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were always helpful and happy to assist. It’s a great location with a friendly feel, and I’d definitely come back.

The price was far too high for this poor quality. At night I could hear a couple making love until 3 a.m., and the place is badly insulated. Cold air also came in through gaps between the window and wall. I was so cold I felt like I was sleeping outside and had to keep my coat on in bed. A horrible experience.

The sewage smell was terrible, and there was no elevator. The rooms were small and dirty, with hairs in the bed, bathroom, and on the floor. I’ve never stayed in such a disgusting hotel.
