The location is excellent, the place is well maintained, and the staff are kind. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms are generally well insulated and quiet. Strong value for money. My one strong recommendation is to fix the booking payment system so it doesn't reject cards entered by a spouse or family member with a different name. Other hotels commonly accept those cards, so this one should too.

The staff are very friendly and the location is good, but the hotel feels really old and dusty. I've had a lot of allergies. The windows and the insulation between rooms let in noise and cold. I guess it's okay for one night alone or as a couple, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay.

The location is great, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are very dated and noisy, which I expected, but the cleanliness is what brought this down to three stars. I don’t think they clean between guests. Two of the three people in our group said their rooms were quite dirty.

We found the rooms small, though they were perfectly fine for tourists. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the hotel was excellent value in a great location. We stayed two nights and will definitely come back. Highly recommended, thank you.

The staff were the best part of my stay, they were fantastic and seemed ready to do anything for you. My room was comfortable and nice, and despite facing the front of the hotel it was pretty quiet. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from St Pancras / Kings Cross, which made it really convenient for a short transit. Thanks for making the stay a nice one. I’ll be back for sure.
