ibis London Sutton Point

The only hiccup was a fire alarm that went off unexpectedly. We were told someone had burned something in their room, and it stopped soon enough. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, and it didn’t spoil the rest of my three-night stay. My room and bathroom were clean, the bed was just right, not too hard or too soft, and I had a lovely view from the 5th level. Reception staff were helpful and friendly from beginning to end. I had a fabulous time and will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the place. It was beautiful and very clean, and tea and coffee were always available. The location made it easy to get around and explore. There was one false fire alarm while we were there, but it didn’t affect our experience.

We spent nearly six months here and have the highest regard for everyone who works at the hotel. From check-in, we were given a very warm welcome, and nothing we needed was a problem. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the cleaning ladies were wonderful. The maintenance gentleman was always on hand when we needed him. Special thanks to Imanuella Chloe, and also to the lady and gentleman at reception whose names I can’t remember now. A big thank you to them too. We’re looking forward to coming back. Breakfast was pretty poor, especially on the first morning. A false fire alarm kept going off, and by the time I got to the breakfast room there was hardly any food. The hot items weren’t hot: just one hash brown, a tiny bit of bacon, and the dregs of baked beans. The orange juice tasted watered down. The toaster wasn’t working, though I wondered if it might have set off the alarm. There were no staff around either. The next day was a little better. A staff member seemed to be there, and the toaster worked, but I still don’t think the breakfast is worth what they charge. Check-in was quick and painless. The bathroom was okay, but the room was too warm. Opening the window was the only way to cool it, and outside noise made it impossible to sleep with it open.
