That shower was probably the best I've ever had, with amazing warmth and outstanding pressure, even though the shower cubicle was small. The desk staff were helpful and brought extra duvets to see if they could make the bed more comfortable. The room itself was tiny, barely enough space for a double bed and a table, and the bed was unbelievably hard, like sleeping on the floor. Phone service was terrible, with nobody willing to talk or help. The walls are thin, and the maid was shouting, banging around, and complaining about her job at 6-7am. Not great if you want a lie-in. I wouldn't stay here again.

The lift made the whole room buzz every time someone used it, which seemed to be every five minutes, even at 3 a.m. Street noise and light were brutal, and the room was too small to have anywhere for a large suitcase. The toilet and plugs didn't work, and the mattress was prison-level. There's only so much refurbishing can do here, and clearly more is needed. Some places just need tearing down and rebuilding. As someone who feels compassion for other people, I'd urge you to find somewhere else to stay.

There's a bus stop right outside, and I'd definitely stay here again. The rooms are small but have what you need, including a fan, and they're clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The bathroom was clean too, with towels and toilet paper, and the shower was easy to use.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating. For a 3-star hotel, it's great value. If all you need is a clean, comfortable place to sleep in a great location and you're not looking for gold taps, this fits. It's got all the quirks of a Georgian building repurposed over the years.
