The 10 minute walk to the O2 Arena made the location worth the money by itself. We heard there was a shuttle bus, service 180, but didn't need it. The bed was comfortable and the hotel wasn't too noisy, though the pillows were very soft. If you don't like sleeping flat, you might want to bring your own. The lobby looked cool inside, a contrast with the bins and rubbish outside. Clearing those away would make the place feel much better, and might justify a higher price. For this location, £80-150 seems about right. We paid £80, which felt like a bargain, but I wouldn't want to pay the current £250 room rate. The decor was fresh and well designed, with useful amenities like USB plugs, mirrors, and good lighting. The room wasn't fully clean, though. There was what I hope was sugar all over the floor, and it clearly hadn't been vacuumed. Parking was ridiculous. Bins blocked access in places, one space was almost entirely obstructed by a lamppost, and I'm not sure the website's claim that the spaces fit large cars is true. We found free street parking down the road, which beat paying £22 a night, though the area didn't look great, with dusty debris and cars that seemed abandoned for a long time. The receptionist had a strong accent that made her hard to understand, and she didn't know whether the street parking needed a ticket. She insisted there was parking outside the hotel, but when we pointed out the piles of bin bags and someone's front porch blocking it, she didn't seem concerned and couldn't offer an alternative or reassure us about the spot 50m down the road. The sky lounge host didn't know about the bus route and seemed a little standoffish at first, though she was polite and smiled by the end. There's no alcohol in the sky bar, just shish and Asian food.

We were lucky enough to find a parking spot, which isn't easy there. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk from the 02, and we stayed for James Arthur and our 6th Valentine's together. The room was decorated for us and we got a warm welcome. My partner and I really enjoyed it, and I'd recommend the hotel. Thank you.

The staff were very nice, and the hotel itself is pleasant, but the dirt on the floors and in the bathroom was hard to miss. There was old hair on the floor, and cleanliness was our main complaint. The restaurant staff and reception doors opened straight outside, letting in a lot of cold air and draughts. It made sitting at the bar unappealing, which is a shame. The food service was good, and the towels and toiletries were good quality. The O2 is convenient from here, but we wouldn't stay again.

Great location, but I wouldn't recommend the stay. The room was dusty and poorly looked after, with a disgusting stain just outside the door and wrappers under the bed. The air con was broken. We followed up three times and were mostly ignored, with no fix. Luckily we brought our own towel, because the ones provided smelled bad, and the pillows might as well not have been there. I've raised the issues with head office.

The hotel stands out from other budget chains with its branded colour theme, and the bathroom quality, fridge, and safe all felt like good value for this price range. The staff were friendly at check in and check out. Our window didn't close all the way, but it wasn't too noisy or draughty, even with the big red dog right outside. It's a great walkable location for the O2, and I'd recommend it for gigs and probably stay again.
