The Prince Akatoki London

The breakfast restaurant was spectacular, and I loved the little nighttime tea in the room. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and laid out well, while the hotel's atmosphere felt elegant but still welcoming. From arrival on, every staff member was warm and attentive, and made us feel looked after. The whole stay felt memorable, and the location was fantastic too. I'd recommend this place highly for its service and generous room space.

The hotel's calm, minimalist look stood out to me: clean lines, understated decor, spotless spaces and a thoughtful layout. It brought to mind high-end Japanese hospitality, and for a moment I felt transported to Tokyo. The location is central and well connected, with easy access to London, while the hotel itself feels like a quiet retreat. The restaurant was very well run, with smooth service, good products and clear communication among the team. I work in hospitality, and was impressed by the attentive service throughout. Nono at Reception and Rakesh in the restaurant deserve special thanks. They were kind, intuitive and well timed in how they looked after me, anticipating needs and personalising interactions while staying calm and polished. I wouldn't hesitate to return and will recommend the property to colleagues and friends in the industry. Please don't book out the hotel, though, as I still want to come back ;)

We had a lovely three-night Christmas stay at the Prince Akatoki. The location is hard to beat, right in the middle of everything but on a quiet side street. Service was excellent, the rooms were clean and nice, and Jordan and Dolores deserve special thanks for their hospitality. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and the bar cocktails were great too. The rooms were a little small by US standards, though that seems normal for London. Breakfast food took a while to arrive, but it was always high quality, so I understood. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

The location is very convenient, close to almost everything, and the bathroom is well equipped with a bidet, built-in drying feature and heating. Cleanliness, service and concierge support were outstanding, and breakfast had a good range of options. There was one frustrating problem at check-in. I'd paid for the full week in advance, but was asked to pay again when I arrived. It took about 30-40 minutes to sort out. I expected an upgrade to make up for the inconvenience, but instead the manager gave me a written apology and three pieces of chocolate. Aside from that, the hotel itself was excellent.
