Breakfast had a good range of buffet and à la carte options, and everything tasted great. I slept really well in the clean, comfortable family room, with its lovely pillows and very comfortable bed. I’d been a little worried about noise, but the double windows kept the room quiet overnight. I had a lot of luggage and there’s no lift, so I really appreciated being moved to a first-floor room. The staff were kind and helpful from the moment I arrived. The bathroom was nice, with a good shower and lovely toiletries, and there was plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, and water. It’s a great find for the location and value. I’d happily stay again.

The room was clean and breakfast was lovely, and the staff were kind throughout. They stored our bags before the room was ready so we could go sightseeing. The location is great, with easy bus access, and it was surprisingly quiet despite being above a pub right next to Waterloo station. We were on the third floor, so be ready for quite a few stairs. We’d definitely stay again.
We went to the pub for lunch or dinner, too, and really liked the atmosphere. The location was perfect, breakfast was excellent with both a buffet and a menu, and our room was cozy and very clean. My son and I had a great stay thanks in part to the friendly, welcoming staff. We’ll definitely be back!
Being right outside Waterloo train station made it easy to get around London. My daughter and I had a great stay at The Wellington Hotel. The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable, and the shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water after a long day out. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, so everything felt relaxed from the start. Hotel guests get 15% off food and drink, which we made good use of. The manager is friendly and clearly takes pride in the place. We can’t wait to return.
I come over from the States every month and always stay at the Wellington. Mark the general manager and the rest of the staff have treated me like family since my first visit. It’s in a great spot close to everything, and I highly recommend it when you’re in London.
