Travelodge London Raynes Park

A very convenient base for a London trip. The fast train to Waterloo is just a short walk away. Our room was standard for Travelodge and very clean, and the staff were accommodating. There was a good breakfast selection too. I’d definitely come back.

This was our first Travelodge, and the average reviews and mid-range price had me expecting something fairly ordinary. Instead, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was quiet despite being close to transit. It’s become our go-to hotel chain when we stay in the UK. Since then I’ve booked Travelodge for other destinations too, and each stay has been good value with kind, helpful staff. The amenities are limited, but we don’t mind going without a pool or gym if the room is comfortable and people are kind. Travelodge, you nailed it!

I was given a key to a room that already had a man lying in bed. Later, drilling and banging went on from midnight until 1am, and the police were called. The room was cold, and the heating unit was incredibly noisy.

The train station is only a stone’s throw away, yet the location was quite quiet. I’d never been to the area before, and this was the cheapest Travelodge in London. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Both nights they brought me a tray so I could take my dinner to the room, and I could easily get extra tea and coffee when I needed it. The beds were very comfy.
