Tribe London Canary Wharf

My main reservation is the room size. The standard room is 14 square metres, which can feel really tight with a partner or family. If you’re travelling alone and mostly out during the day, it’s less of an issue. Otherwise, this is a clean, stylish, well-run hotel in a very handy spot. Canary Wharf station is about a five-minute walk and connects directly to Heathrow, so getting to and from the airport is easy. Canada Place and Jubilee Place malls are walkable, with plenty of food and grocery options. The welcoming coffee and bakery smell hits you at the lobby cafe. The curtains block both light and cold, and the shower feels clean and is lovely for a hot wash when the weather’s chilly. Daily room cleaning is available, and there’s even a steamer for clothes.

The bed was so comfortable that getting up in the morning was a struggle. The whole place stayed spotless during our visit, and the staff were cheerful, friendly and chatty. They went out of their way to help and made us feel looked after from start to finish. We’d gladly come back. Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location.

The rooms are compact, but for one night they were just right: comfortable, stylish and thoughtfully laid out. Check-in was quick, the staff were friendly, and the bar had a lovely atmosphere when we stopped for a drink. For what we paid, it was a bargain and I liked the concept. I stayed overnight at Tribe Canary Wharf before heading to the O2 Arena. The tube is only a few minutes away, with lots of places to eat nearby. I’d return for another concert, since the O2 is just one tube stop away and takes no time at all.

We had a lovely time and would stay at Tribe again. The hotel’s interior is smart and sleek, and our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The Canary Wharf location worked perfectly for us.
