There was visible mold in my bathroom, so I couldn’t use the shower during my stay. I reported the problem to a staff member in the lobby, but instead of dealing with it there and then, they told me to contact a particular email address. I followed the instructions and sent three detailed emails. Nobody replied at all, with no acknowledgment, apology, compensation, or anything. Being ignored after reporting something as serious as mold felt highly unprofessional and showed a lack of responsibility and customer care. For the price, I expected basic hygiene and at least proper communication. Neither was provided. My stay at the Hammersmith Hotel was extremely disappointing and frustrating, and I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone.

The location was convenient, but my three nights at the Euro Hotel in Hammersmith were a real disappointment because of the room’s condition, comfort, and upkeep. It was noticeably small, making an extended stay uncomfortable, and the mattress wasn’t good enough for a decent night’s sleep throughout my visit. The walls had obvious signs of poor maintenance, with lots of uneven patch-up marks and general wear that made the room look tired and uncared for. More concerning, I saw insects or bugs in the room, specifically near the door frame, as shown in the attached images. Their presence raised serious concerns about deep cleaning and pest control, and I don’t think pests are acceptable in accommodation. The small space, uncomfortable bed, worn walls, and bugs made the stay unpleasant. The hotel urgently needs to address its maintenance, comfort, and pest control procedures to provide a hygienic, pleasant environment. Because of this experience, I’ll contact management directly about these issues.

The cleaning staff were very helpful, and the location was the only good thing about my stay. The manager was extremely rude. He made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed over a disability a family member couldn’t help, and his response to a problem that couldn’t be helped left me having a panic attack. His manner felt aggressive and intimidating, and he made me feel ashamed. The building also seemed to have health and safety issues. I had to get around someone fitting carpet that had been left unfinished that night, then hoover up loose bits of carpet that didn’t feel secure. There were at least four flights of narrow, steep stairs to climb for my elderly mother, and not one staff member offered to help with her bags. I had my own room, but it turned out to be in the hotel next door, something that wasn’t mentioned when I booked. I was told only after paying. Partly that was on me, since I was exhausted after travelling for 8 hours and didn’t want to argue, but I would have preferred to be in the same hotel. I was also charged more than the price I saw on booking.com. The room was freezing, the smoke alarm was literally hanging off the ceiling, and there was a strange smell in the bathroom. The sheets had a weird stain. When my family member had an accident, they offered only to flip the mattress, not replace it. In all my years of travelling, this is the only accommodation I’ve encountered without mattress protectors, which is concerning for the rest of the hotel. I’m never coming back. I fully expect management to reply rudely and try to make me feel awkward again, but that would just show his true colours.

I had a brilliant stay in london at the Euro Hotel. The rooms are clean, and with reception open 24/7, getting an extra towell or pillow is just a matter of asking. The location is perfect, with two tube stations within walking distance and the whole city on your doorstep. 10/10 would recommend.

I booked in an emergency at 9.45pm to check in straight away, then cancelled at 10pm after finding a better place. I was still charged £40. I couldn’t get through to the property, they don’t answer the phone or Expedia messages, and the email address on their website is wrong. Avoid.
