We weren't staying at the hotel, but car trouble nearby brought us in to ask for help. The beautiful lobby bar was a lovely first impression, and the welcome we got was so warm. Everyone was attentive, kind, and ready to help, even though we weren't guests. The service was outstanding. I can only imagine how well they look after the people staying there. Truly impressive hospitality. Thank you so much 🫶🏼

The views across Edinburgh Bay are stunning, and the location is a real plus. I found the property well maintained, with a spacious room and a nicely modernized bathroom. But the staff and management didn't feel very friendly during my stay, which was disappointing. The restaurant was the biggest letdown: the service lacked warmth and the food had plenty of room for improvement. The hotel facilities and setting are excellent, but the hospitality and dining need attention.

We only stopped for lunch and coffee, and it was still good value. The conservatory has a lovely view, even with the haar over the Forth, and the service was excellent. The only mix-up was that we'd booked lunch but they had us down for afternoon tea.

We just had dinner here for the second time. The view and atmosphere are second to none, and the food is delicious. Service is impeccable. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. We'll no doubt see you again in 2026. Thank you!

The steak pie is worth trying. It's a proper pie, not stew with a pastry lid, and it's delicious and filling.
