Luton Hotel

Dear Team OYO, Thanks for getting in touch. I’d booked a twin room by mistake instead of a double, and when I noticed, I asked to switch. I was happy to pay an extra fee, but the staff member in charge wouldn’t accommodate the request. My partner and I struggled to sleep well. There was also a blockage in the bathroom drainage, which left an unpleasant smell in the room and made the stay uncomfortable. Our experience at The Luton Hotel wasn’t as pleasant as we’d hoped. I hope this feedback helps improve things for future guests. Kind regards, Kelly

The service was friendly and professional, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The hot shower had good pressure, and there were tea and coffee facilities, a TV with a good picture, coat hangers and a safe. It’s a simple, cosy room at a great price near the airport. It was a little cold at first, but I turned on the heating and it worked fine.

I got there for a late check-in at 10 pm and was welcomed nicely at reception. The room was basic but quite adequate for the price, making this very good value for money for a one night stay. I left at 6:30am, so didn’t have breakfast. I’ll certainly stay here again.

There was no hot water in the morning, which was inconvenient, and the customer service was poor. I also noticed dust throughout the room, so cleanliness was lacking. I had a disappointing stay and recommend choosing another hotel for a more pleasant experience.
