The staff member at check-in was warm and helpful, and the heating kept us comfortable. We also found the price reasonable, with Aldi, Home Bargains, Poundland, McDonald’s and Greggs nearby, plus easy access to Luton Airport. We were there for three nights with our young child. The building feels more dated than other Premier Inns I’ve stayed in. We asked for housekeeping at reception and left the door card out, but the room was skipped that day. It was attended to the next day, though the stained sheets had only been straightened, not changed. There was mould by the window and marks on the inner curtains, so we didn’t want to open them. Those areas could use a deeper clean. Breakfast at Beefeater was a good English buffet. A second toaster would help, since the line for the only one got long. Convenient stay, but housekeeping and upkeep need attention.

Being so close to the airport made the trip much easier and less stressful. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly whenever I needed help. Breakfast had a good choice each morning, and the facilities seemed well looked after. I had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back.

The breakfast was a bright spot, a good English spread, though waiting for the one toaster took far too long. The receptionist who checked us in was lovely and explained what we needed to know. After that, there was rarely anyone at the desk, so you had to ring a bell to get help. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but it wasn’t done until I asked again the next day. Even then, the sheets stayed as they were; we only got fresh towels and tissue paper. Having stayed at two other Premier Inn locations, I found this one a real step down.

Uji at reception was a delight, and everyone we dealt with was lovely and helpful. The hotel was easy to find thanks to the signs in the hallways and by the doors. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped, and we made it feel like home during our stopover. The calm atmosphere and clean foyer made a good first impression. We appreciated the email about the lifts being out of service, even though they had been fixed by the time we arrived. It’s also a great spot for the airport. Thanks for having us.

Breakfast at the Beefeater across the car park was really good and well stocked, and the space there was very spacious. The hotel is close to the train station, with town about a 20 minute walk away. The rooms are okay, but sound carries through the walls more than at other Premier Inn hotels. I could hear someone snoring in the room above, even when they went to the bathroom. Parking costs 10.80 for a night and expires at checkout, so it won’t cover a full 24 hours. For a few nights, Airport Parkway car park might suit better, about 10 minutes away.
