We had a lovely stay on Valentine’s Day. The breakfast was enjoyable, and our room was comfortable with plenty of space. Staff were helpful and very friendly. It’s a great base for walking around Lyndhurst and the surrounding area. I’m sure my wife and I will be back!

I picked this place because I was travelling with my two dogs and it welcomes dogs. The room was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One heads-up, though: my bigger dog struggled with the stairs. They’re very steep and narrow, with a heavy door at the top.

Lyndhurst town is just a few minutes away, with lovely restaurants and shops. We spent New Year’s Eve here with our dogs, and the owner and staff were so friendly. Our room was large, warm and lovely, with comfortable beds and a great shower. Breakfast was lovely too. You have to order ahead, but it works well because you don’t have to wait.

We stayed for a night before boarding our cruise in Southampton, and Ormonde house hotel was a beautiful, well-appointed find in the heart of the New Forest. The restaurant and bar were excellent, the hotel has a lot to offer, and the staff were wonderful. Couldn’t have chosen better. Highly recommended!

We’re booking again for next year. The location was perfect for enjoying the Christmas festivities in Lyndhurst, and the hotel worked well for our family. They provided a travel cot and highchair. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed our stay.
