The view over the Bristol Channel, with Wales in the distance, was lovely. We had a clean, comfortable room, and the innkeepers were friendly and helpful, including with their communication before we arrived. The place is right by the start of the cliff walk to the Valley of Rocks, and breakfast was good. We also enjoyed dinner at their partner North Cliff Hotel. A very enjoyable stay, and easy to recommend.

We stayed for four nights in late September and found very little to complain about. The hosts, a young local couple, clearly wanted us to enjoy our visit, and we did. From our bay windows we could see the lovely bay and even the lights of Wales. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the place was quiet and immaculate, and the bathroom seemed new. Each morning brought a generous breakfast made the way we liked it. The tasteful decor made this feel like a little gem. Vic and Chantal from Canada both recommend it warmly.

We stayed in the Coachman's Quarters, a self-catering space with its own garden and beautiful views. It had everything we needed, was spotless, and the lovely decor made it feel like home. Annie and Sam were wonderful hosts, and breakfast was fresh, hot, and amazing. Even arriving fairly late, we were made to feel welcome and valued. We'll definitely be back, and highly recommend it to anyone staying nearby.

The moss and ferns covering the walls were a lovely touch, and the house felt clean and homely. The staff were so nice, and breakfast was tasty and well organised. It's in a beautiful spot, very close to the walks to Valley of the Rocks and Woody Bay, with lovely views too.

Stopped at this lovely pub just before Lynton. Had a fantastic sourdough roll with thick, lovely ham.
