The North Cliff Hotel

The patio terrace is stunning, a lovely place for a drink with that view, and the bar is well stocked. Dinner was homemade, hearty, and delicious; breakfast was delicious too and set us up for walking in the Valley of the Rocks. The staff are wonderful, and the hotel sits in a stunning spot for walking or relaxing. It's dog friendly in every way without affecting its cleanliness or quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% return. We'd recommend North Cliff Hotel to anyone exploring this beautiful part of the West Country.

A real treat, and we'll be back. The staff were excellent, personable, and clearly proud of the place. The hotel's decor suits its history and is tasteful and well maintained, with no faded grandeur. We only stayed one night, which felt far too short, and can't wait to return. The sea views from our stunning room were amazing, and sitting out on the terrace was lovely. The honesty bar is a great idea. Breakfast was fabulous, and the welcome was warm and friendly, so we felt at home straight away. What a beautiful location!

Room 6 has a great view of Lynmouth harbour, and breakfast was spectacular. The North Cliff hotel is in a great location, about a 24 minutes walk from valley of rocks, with everything easy to reach. Park up and enjoy walking around. If you need anything, ask the manager, who will be very helpful.
