Premier Inn Macclesfield South West

The attached restaurant was open and spacious, with a good range of dishes. Phobe deserves a special mention for her exceptional, consistently pleasant service. We stayed on April 17th 2026, ahead of a nearby wedding the next day. There was plenty of parking when we arrived. The building exterior looked old, but the rooms and bathrooms were clean and modern. Our large group had about eight rooms, and most of us arrived around the same time. The receptionist was always pleasant and accommodating with our different requests and changes. At checkout, another staff member went above and beyond by arranging a later checkout for two rooms with the cleaning staff, giving our mobility-impaired parents extra time to get ready for the wedding. Comfortable rooms and beds, friendly and accommodating staff, and a reasonable price made for a great stay.

The staff are great. The pub next door has shut, but there's a nice pub serving food on the same road, about a 17-minute walk towards town. We bought drinks and snacks and sat in the beer garden by the hotel reception.

Tash at Reception was really helpful and friendly to my son, which made us feel comfortable, especially as I was travelling alone with a child. My son and I stayed for the weekend while visiting friends nearby. The room was lovely and clean. I'd definitely recommend the place and look forward to staying again.

Breakfast is cooked to order, and the staff were friendly. You know what to expect at a Premier inn, and I thought it was good value. The only drawback I can think of is the lack of a lift, though I’m sure they can offer a suitable ground-floor room for someone less mobile. I’d return.
