The Indian restaurant was the highlight. We had a fantastic meal, beautifully presented and delicious, and Georgia knew the menu well and gave spot-on recommendations. The room itself was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, though the decor was dated and it was extremely cold. We were told the heating would come on by 3pm, but it didn’t, so we had to ask for help. It was turned off overnight, and the room was freezing by morning. We were told it should have come on automatically at 6am, but it hadn’t, so we needed help again. The bathroom was icy, which made showering very uncomfortable. The public areas had a musty old smell that made a tired first impression. The lounge and bar were nicely decorated, but felt worn and in need of a refresh. We felt it was good value for money. When we asked about the Indian restaurant on arrival, we were told it wasn't an Indian restaurant, just a hotel serving Indian food. There's a big sign outside advertising “Sasa’s Indian Kitchen and bar”, so that was confusing. The hotel is pet-friendly, which is a bonus, though there may be issues if your dog barks often.

Our Boxer dog had a great time, and we had a wonderful stay at Pettifers hotel last weekend. The owners were lovely and welcoming, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant’s Indian menu was brilliant. The bhajis and Lamb bhuna were outstanding. Many thanks for a great stay!

We went to the pettifers hotel on the 3rd March for my partner's birthday, and the staff were so friendly. Lottie was on duty when we arrived and showed us to our ground-floor room in a little annexe. It was massive, with plenty of room to move around. The bed was huge, the mattress very comfortable, and the bedding smelled lovely and fresh. The bathroom was fantastic, with a rainfall shower and wonderfully soft water. We had an Indian meal that evening, and I’ve never seen so much food. It was delicious. The big breakfast the next morning was tasty and cooked to perfection. The service and attention from everyone working there were fantastic. We’ll definitely go back.

Sasa's, the hotel restaurant, serves some of the best curry I’ve eaten in years. Thoroughly recommend it for fantastic Indian food. A little secret in Crudwell.

We paid around 130 punds for one night in a big, simple, clean and cosy room, which felt like good value. It had a bathtub and was easy to change nappies in. The parking area was spacious, so getting around with the pram was easy. The staff were welcoming, smiling and helpful throughout, and even carried our bags up to the room while we carried our 3 month old baby up the stairs. The restaurant served good Indian food, and the included Full English the next morning was good too. Very happy with our visit. It’s a very child-friendly place, and I’d recommend it for a night or two on a family road trip.
