The steak I had in the restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten, and breakfast was good too, with options for meat eaters and vegetarians. The rooms were clean, the beds comfy, and I loved sinking into the pillows. There was a good shower, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries that suit sensitive skin, a desk for working, and a nice TV for relaxing. I also liked the little gym, with good-quality equipment and dumbbells, enough for a decent workout. The air con works as heating too, which was great for me because I'm always cold. The views are outstanding, and the hotel looks lovely. It's well located for driving or public transport, and the staff were polite, supportive, and looked after us. The lady in the restaurant had a playlist that made the experience even better. There is free parking, but only for a limited time. You have to leave by 12pm at checkout, which doesn't work well if you're staying in the area afterward. That was a problem when I was working nearby. Parking costs £15, which is steep, though the land isn't owned by the hotel so they can't control it. There are no baths for a soak. I'd recommend the hotel and have already booked my next stay.

I've stayed here several times and have always been satisfied with how comfortable and clean the hotel is. On December 27, I was leaving for the airport to go home and waiting for a taxi at 4 a.m. I could have really used a good coffee, but it's usually not available that early. Receptionist Gabriel was friendly company while I waited, and even made me an excellent cappuccino for free. A hotel depends on its staff as much as its rooms and cleanliness, and this place has excellent people. Thank you, Gabe, you made my day! 😊

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Abid and Mustafa at reception deserve a special mention. They were professional, outstanding, and always glad to help with whatever we needed. Their hospitality really made a difference. Staying here was one of the best decisions we made, and I'd definitely recommend it. I'd happily return.

We got to the hotel with my family on 31st december, new years eve, after a four-hour journey. I had booked rooms beside each other and next to the lift because of medical health reasons. After a long queue, we were told there was a problem with card access: once you entered your room, if you left, the card wouldn't let you back in and reception would have to let you in. They should have told all the guests. The man said it was the same issue at all the hiltons around the world, and I was baffled but believed him. That evening I called my friend at the hilton in park lane, and she said her stay was absolutely fine and she had no trouble accessing her room. The water in my room was only lukewarm. I called to get it sorted, but nobody came. Then my 13 year old got stuck in the lift too. I stay at hilton all the time, especially in central london, and the service has always been amazing. They've always resolved any problems. I complained to hilton honours, and they were supportive and understanding. They passed the complaint on to the hotel and said it should get back to me within 24hours, and that I should be able to get compensation, like a refund or something similar. The hotel didn't contact me, so I had to call again and send a few emails. When they eventually replied, they weren't sympathetic and didn't admit their mistake. They fobbed me off with a few points on my account. I wasn't happy or satisfied with the customer service, especially from such a huge worldwide hotel. I won't stay there again.
