10/10
The place has a swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and gym, and my room was clean with a comfortable bed. I slept really well, and breakfast was very good. The price was fantastic, especially given that Manchester YMCA owns it and supports vulnerable young people and the local community. It's also received a silver Green Tourism award. A first rate local asset, and I'll use it whenever I return to Manchester.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, though a few things could have used a touch-up. For the value, the location and facilities are great. I'll definitely stay again.

We came from Birmingham and had a great stay. Denim made us feel welcome right from the front desk, explained amenities that hadn't been mentioned in the booking, and sorted out the parking details. She really went the extra mile. There are activities and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away, too. Thanks again, Denim, you rock! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Manchester.

2/10
The room felt cramped and narrow, a bit like a university dormitory, and I think a redesign could make the guest experience much better. I was disappointed by its condition and cleanliness. There was hair on the bathroom floor, the sheets smelled unpleasant and the carpet felt sticky. The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We hired the Bridgewater Suite for a celebration of life, and the buffet was brilliant. The staff were fantastic, especially Denim and Hayden, who gave us super service. Our room for the night was absolutely fine, and the hotel is perfectly placed for getting out and about. Highly recommend.
