A fantastic hotel in a great location, with exceptional staff. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return.

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. There was pubic hair in the sink and bedroom, wallpaper was coming off, and the carpets were stained. I booked a superior room, but this wasn’t one. Reception told me to come back in an hour and it would be clean. I returned two hours later and nothing had been done. When I asked for another room, I was told I could check out then and get a refund. Don’t stay here, it’s worse than Faulty Towers.

Good value, with a great location and very friendly, professional staff. The restaurant was decent too.

I phoned two weeks ahead to ask for a twin room, but when we arrived we were given a king size bed. Reception offered no way to sort it out, so one of us slept on the floor. The room was dirty, with large carpet stains, no valance on the bed, and lots of mould in the bath grout and across the ceiling. Breakfast wasn’t great, mostly deep-fried or stale food on sticky tables. The bar’s urinals were very dirty as well. This definitely doesn’t feel like a four-star establishment at the moment. Please try to avoid it.
