20 Hertford Street

The neighborhood felt safe and clean, with plenty of places for coffee, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Hyde Park and Green Park underground station are nearby, so getting around on foot or by transit was easy. There was an elevator, and the staff were friendly and helped with our bags while we waited for the room. We booked a studio for three nights, but a reservation availability issue meant we were given a much larger place with multiple rooms, a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a large bathroom. It was quiet, though being on the lower level meant there wasn't much daylight. Since we were only there briefly and out a lot, that trade-off worked for us. All in all, we had a good stay and recommend 20 Hertford for a visit.

The apartment itself is beautiful and modern, and I’d give the location 8/10. Sleeping was difficult, though. The beds were very uncomfortable and could use new mattresses, and a sound like water running through the pipes kept disturbing us. Bathing was a problem too. Even with the tap turned to cold or warm, the water came out scalding hot, and the handle got too hot to touch. There was also a pungent weed smoke smell in the apartment. We had to pour perfume around to try to get rid of it.

Check-in was easy, with professional, quick service. The apartment was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with what we needed for a pleasant visit. Its central spot is close to Hyde Park, shops, and restaurants, while still being quiet. We had a great stay at 20 Hertford Street, Mayfair, and would happily return.

I really enjoyed staying here. The place was very clean and in a great location, and the staff were kind and welcoming. Sudipta Sharma stood out for having such amazing energy. I HIGHLY recommend it for a London stay.
