Room 5 was at the back, and it stayed quiet despite the hotel being by the services and an industrial estate. We didn't hear traffic. Having a Subway, Starbucks, and a Shell garage right next door made food and fuel easy, and there was free parking behind the hotel. For a budget stay in Middlewich, the room was clean and the reception staff were lovely. The furniture was a little battered, but the basics were good: reliably hot water, tea and coffee in the room, and a radiator that kept it cosy. Good value for the price, and hassle-free.

We had a fabulous three-night stay in a wonderfully spacious room with a double bed and lounge area. It was clean, modern, peaceful and quiet, with all the comforts we needed. The guy on Reception was super friendly. The location is handy for the M6 and close to some really nice country-style pubs and restaurants. It isn't the prettiest spot, a little hidden behind a small industrial-looking area, but the plot where the Travelodge sits is secluded and nice. There's also a Starbucks and petrol station garage next door. I'd totally recommend it for a pleasant, budget-friendly stay.

The service was warm, but the rooms are starting to look old. The entrance is a bit naff, tucked between a hedge, and kids pay the same as adults for breakfast. I'd go to the local McDonald's if I were you.

For a budget-priced place, it was good. I paid extra for internet and the speed was fine. There was a kettle and tea in the room, the TV worked, and the bath had hot water. It was a little cold, though maybe that was just me.

The staff I met were all very kind, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine too. It's a Travelodge, so you know what to expect. The windows have seen better days. I felt a bit of a draft, and the soundproofing wasn't great, which could be an issue with a busy road beside the hotel. There also weren't many power sockets in the room.
