The bar area had plenty of comfortable space for everyone who came to my dear Mum's wake, and it helped that the hotel is right next to the Crematorium. Shivangi arranged everything, and it all went smoothly. We also stayed overnight; the room was really comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and a little limited for some, though I'm sure they'd prepare something you asked for within reason.

The staff were so friendly, and the beds were comfortable. It’s a small, nice hotel set back from the main road, so the location worked well. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included with a good choice for different dietary needs. I’m gluten intolerant and had no problems eating here. The staff understood and could provide GF items.

Ash, Rupa, and Sijoy made a real difference during my work stay at the Mercure over the past couple of weeks. They were attentive, professional, and friendly, always greeting me with a smile and checking that I had what I needed. The whole team’s service was tremendous, and their hospitality made the hotel feel welcoming and my stay comfortable.

The food and service in the bar were excellent. My colleagues and I ate there every evening during our week for work. The room was very clean and quiet, and I really liked the big bath. I’d happily stay here again if I’m in the area.

We came from South Wales on a coach trip for three nights, including New Year's Eve. The hotel was run very well, with clean, well-appointed rooms and friendly, capable staff. The food was very good, hot and tasty. It made for a very good New Year's Eve break.
