The staff were all lovely, and there was parking, which was useful. The Seaview room had a great view, but that was about the only thing I’d praise. Breakfast isn’t provided, and the rooms need a complete modernization.

We picked this hotel for a three-night October stay because it’s close to the BIC. There are plenty of places to stay in this part of Bournemouth, and I’d recommend this one. It’s an older hotel but well looked after inside, and the staff were friendly and chatty. Our medium-sized room faced the sea and had a wardrobe, drawers, plus tea and coffee. No breakfast or other meals are offered, but The Hop Inn is a five-minute walk away and serves food all day. The main shopping area is around a 10-15 minute walk. My wife and I enjoyed our stay.

There’s a really homely feel here, and the service was very good. A welcoming hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it. I’ll 100% stay again.

The bed was very comfortable and the room a good size. We found the location great for a walk down to the beach, with some good restaurants just a stone’s throw away. A lovely, welcoming host too.

It’s not a fancy hotel, and it doesn’t pretend to be. My room and bathroom were clean, the bathroom modern and functional, and the location is excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I didn’t hear doors banging all night. There’s also a little bar downstairs. I enjoyed my stay and will come back next time I’m in town.
