Canyon Cottage

We barely had to drive anywhere, apart from the three-minute trip to the village Co-Op. The Cottage is right by Dinas Rock and the yellow trail to the Four Falls, with Waterfall Country behind The Angel Inn nearby. We found that spot quieter and more scenic, and more spectacular than The Four Falls, a real hidden gem. The walk needs some moderate walking ability, but it was still good for taking the dogs. Inside, everything was clean and well equipped, with fresh towels, cleaning products, utensils, central heating, free WiFi, and good water pressure in the wet room, handy with dogs. There’s a cosy little garden with two sets of doors, a table, chairs, and a bench. We also liked the maps on the walls and leaflets about local attractions. A peaceful, comfortable place that would work well for a weekend or a longer stay.

We had an amazing trip around. Canyon cottage had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. It was very clean and right on the doorstep of the Four Falls walk. There are two great pubs close by with excellent food. They get very busy, so I’d recommend booking a meal. We’ll definitely stay here or at one of their other properties again.
