The staff were fantastic and very personable, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our sea view room had a lovely outlook over the coastal town, and the Premier Inn is perfectly placed on the seafront. The rooms feel a bit outdated, though. The WiFi and water pressure could also use improvement.

Early one morning I was at the beefeaters pub next door. I don’t remember leaving, then next thing I remember I was in a room at the premier inn in Whitley Bay, with no memory of how I got there. Northumbria police came and said I was being arrested for breach of the peace. The arresting officer kept coming towards me, so I repeatedly asked her to step back and to make sure her body cam was on. I was arrested in my underwear. My phone was damaged, and Northumbria police held me from 12pm until around 11pm. They released me without an interview or any charges. I wanted to know why this happened. I’ve contacted Northumbria police six times, and they’ve hung up after finding out why I was calling. I also called both beefeaters and premier inn to find out what happened and ask if they could check the cameras. They either said no or told me to call the police. I explained I already had, and they told me to leave or they’d call the police. There’s so much more to this, believe.

I was staying at the hotel to visit family, and Adel at reception gave great service. Adel answered my questions and made sure my needs were met. All the staff I met were friendly and accommodating. Well done.

The rooms are always roomy and really comfortable. The location is great, right on the beachfront, and the staff are consistently helpful and great. I love this hotel.

The room was comfortable, with an ocean view and a king size bed. It was easy to get to the beach and other areas of the bay. The shower had good water pressure, which I think is important.
