I’d like my deposit back after what happened when I arrived around 8pm with my cousin to check in. The man who greeted us was unprofessional and started by asking if we were there for the party. I had to explain that I’d paid for a room. Even though check-in was at 2pm, the room wasn’t ready and we were told to wait another 15 minutes. He asked personal questions about our ages, then began telling us about his romantic life and acting overly familiar. It made us feel very uncomfortable. While he went upstairs to check the room, I noticed cameras in the upper corridors and saw him take a man and his bags out of a room. I wondered whether that was the room I’d booked.

I contacted the hotel owner twice asking for a refund because I didn’t stay, but still haven’t heard back. On arrival, young men were openly smoking drugs on the first-floor terrace without regard for anyone else. The man in charge was cooking fish in the open kitchen, and the smell was awful, though it did drown out the other smell. The person who met me was overfamiliar and too friendly, which made me uncomfortable. My room was filthy and covered in stains of unknown origin. The whole place felt dirty, unsafe and full of very strange characters. Don’t stay here.

A warm, welcoming B&B with great rooms and facilities. The staff were friendly, and there are lots of nearby amenities, including shops and restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

The staff gave excellent service, and there’s a lovely garden. It’s also well located, not far from the town centre. My room was clean and a nice size. The bed was quite firm, which isn’t my personal preference, but I was still able to get some good sleep.
