We booked the Hilton Nottingham for our 30th wedding anniversary, and it made a wonderful weekend in the city even better. The King Size Presidential Suite was huge, spotless, and so comfortable we didn’t want to leave. Breakfast had a wide range of high quality choices, and the staff there were attentive, friendly, and efficient. From the moment we arrived, Nikolas at the front of house gave us a warm, professional welcome. The whole team made us feel celebrated and took care with every detail. It was a truly great stay, and we’ll definitely return to the Hilton Nottingham. For a stay in the heart of the city, look no further.

The hotel’s cleanliness throughout was excellent, and we enjoyed a very good breakfast. It’s also in a great city centre location, right by John Lewis and convenient for the Theatre Royal. Parking is limited, though. We were lucky enough to get one of the spaces, which cost £20, but you’ll probably need a nearby public car park.

This is specifically about Belinda Williams, the conference host who looked after guests at the brick bar. She hosted us for three days, including breakfast and lunch on Friday, and was exceptional. She was organised, communicated well, and was friendly, a real breath of fresh air. Thank you, Belinda! We look forward to seeing you again in June :)

The central location is what brought us back to the Hilton Nottingham for an event and some time in the city. We parked in the multistorey across the road, and the hotel can help arrange discounted parking. There was a bit of a wait at reception, but the staff member who helped us was polite. Our room still wasn’t ready at 3pm, though it only took a short while longer before we got the keys. The room was spacious and had the usual amenities. The lifts are smaller than most, which can slow things down at busy times. There’s a pleasant staircase if you’re on the first or second floor and can manage the stairs. The bar is very small, tucked away in a corridor by the conference rooms, and seemed to be unattended much of the time. It feels like a missed opportunity for a central hotel to lack a more inviting bar area. We would have happily stopped for a drink, but the space didn’t tempt us. The dining area appeared to open only for breakfast. It’s a nice room, and the expected range of breakfast options helped us start the day well. The property is nice and the team are helpful. I’d recommend it when visiting Nottingham, mainly for its location.

Getting there was easy, and the place is very accessible. I was impressed by the comfortable, well equipped room, with a cosy bed and easy to use tech. There was a fridge and safe too. The breakfast was excellent, and I was very happy with the stay. The small car park has two disabled spaces, but it was full. Definitely recommend 😊
