The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable, but the bedroom carpet was stained. The bathroom needs a small update: the toilet lid had fallen off, and the ceiling wasn't painted properly. It's not black mold, so it isn't a huge issue. Washing load was £15.

The bed was so comfortable that I had the best sleep in ages, and the place was spotlessly clean. We booked because it was pet friendly, though in the end our pet didn't come along. Shame, he would've loved it. The location was perfect. Continental breakfast was included, but we chose a good old English bang next door instead. Fab service and all the usual hotel amenities.

The room was extremely hot, and we couldn't open the windows. They provided a fan, but it was still hot. There was no hot water in the shower, and when we mentioned it, the women at the front desk just said, "Sorry." The room smelled strongly of mold and made me physically ill. It also clearly had pets in it before, and I'm highly allergic, so I had to run out and buy antihistamine. One room's TV didn't work, so we moved to another. The rooms are as basic as they come, all white with no art, and the bathroom floor felt soft under the tiles. Breakfast was very basic too: cold cereal, toast, coffee, tea and juice. I'm not a fan of this place and don't recommend it.

Comfortable beds and a lovely hotel for the price. There's a restaurant next door for dinner and drinks. Basic breakfast is included.
