The Coach House Inn

Breakfast was probably the best we've had in a hotel, with generous servings, good ingredients, and everything cooked just right. We also enjoyed the focused menu, where the dishes were done really well and priced fairly, plus the beer was well kept. The team made us feel at home from the minute we arrived at The Coach House Inn in South Luffenham, with a relaxed, genuinely caring welcome. Belle the dog was a delight and even showed us around South Luffenham. Lovely place and people, we'd happily come back.

The beef roast was a hit with everyone, and the food was exceptional. We dropped in around 3:30 on Sunday after a walk, with four adults and four children, and they kindly found room for us and set up a table. The welcome and service were outstanding. Really glad we found the place, and I'd return if I was in the area again.

That French onion soup was divine. We stopped after walking around Rutland Water for a pint and lunch, and found a good beer selection and a lovely welcome. I'll be back to try the evening menu.

We stopped for lunch while house hunting nearby. The chicken and ham pie came with fresh vegetables, and the pastry was gorgeous. The staff were really friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
