About this property
A Victorian Hotel built in 1865 and 1901 of Scottish granite and sandstone. It stands as a landmark on the North Pier overlooking the town of Oban and Oban Bay to the Isles of Kerrera, Mull and Lismore and the Mountains of Morven. Most of the rooms have seaviews; those remaining have views of the wooded hillside. All rooms are bright and airy; this is enhanced by the decor.

The sea view room was amazing, even better than I’d imagined, and it came equipped with a hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. My daughter and I travelled from Glasgow to Oban and stayed two nights. The hotel was very clean, all the staff were helpful and happy to accommodate, and breakfast was lovely with lots of options. A 10/10 stay, and we’d definitely come back.

We were given a card wishing me a happy birthday, which I thought was really sweet. I was staying in the grand suit for the occasion, and the room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. It had two four poster beds, a dining table, and a leather suite. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

The view of Oban Bay from the window was unreal, and we felt very safe during our five nights here. The hotel is right in the middle of everything and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean, though the furniture is a bit outdated. The shower was hot and strong.

We’ve just spent three lovely days here. The room was clean and spacious, with the added bonus of a stunning view. Shiram and jungita were really lovely and helpful, nothing was a problem for them. They made our stay more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back and see them. Sandra & shug

We’ve just got back from this beautiful hotel. We had the windows 12 suite, and I’ve never stayed in such a huge room. It was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, plenty of heaters, and a handy little fridge. The shower was nice and hot. We’ll be back next year.
