Getting around without a car was easy, with a simple walk from the train station and over to the ferry. The staff were lovely and really helpful, even posting my mail on the morning we left. Breakfast was fantastic, both the food and the service, and the bay views are beautiful. A bit of a splurge, but I’d happily recommend this lovely hotel.

The staff really made this stay memorable. Claudia in the breakfast lounge was wonderfully attentive, David knew his whisky, and the receptionist who shared tips about Oban gave us great recommendations. We also had a comfortable room with a fantastic view, and everyone we spoke to, including the person who helped with check-in and our luggage, was fab.

We had a really good stay for our business Christmas night out in Oban. David at reception was great to chat with about business in Oban, and the welcome from the staff was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, with attentive service too. Would definitely recommend.

David looked after us so well, from the welcome right through to saying goodbye. We spent one night in this lovely traditional hotel and everything felt just right. We’ll certainly stay again on our next trip to Scotland.

A lovely, peaceful spot to take a break from the busy town. We enjoyed drinks on the beautiful terrace, with stunning views across Oban Bay and a relaxed atmosphere. The server and other guests were lovely, and the drinks were excellent. There’s even a private beach at the bottom of the garden, which was a lovely surprise. A hidden gem if you want to unwind and enjoy the scenery.
