There’s a new layout in the rooms, with space on one side that could be for suitcases or a little lounge area. The stay was fine. Staff weren’t especially friendly, but were nice enough.

A fantastic place to stay, with friendly, professional staff and clean rooms at an unreasonably priced rate. Highly recommend.

We were in room 1 because my mum is disabled. I had to ask for a hand towel, as there was only one in the room. The twin beds had no bedside tables or sockets nearby for medical equipment, and the room was very noisy, with people coming and going and staff laughing and talking. I also requested a bath mat, but they don’t have any, and the bathroom floor was very cold. I’d hoped for an accessible shower, but it was over the bath, making it extremely difficult to get my mum in and out.

When I visit family in Okehampton, I’ve always had a pleasant and peaceful stay here. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. It’s a great base for getting around Devon or Cornwall, and I’ll keep choosing to stay here when I can.

The car park is a war zone, with potholes everywhere. Breakfast comes in a box! Xo, 3 stars. The staff were helpful and apologetic. Fix it, travelodge!
