That beef bourguignon was the highlight, rich, tender and full of flavour. Easily one of the best I've had. The other meals were just as well put together and beautifully presented. The place felt relaxed and welcoming, with friendly, attentive service that never made us feel rushed. A great spot for hearty, well-cooked food in Ossett. Looking forward to coming back in Feb!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pub had a great atmosphere. I had a steak and ale pie, best I've had in a long time, and the food was amazing. Staff were very friendly, and breakfast and service were great too. If work brings me back to Dewsbury, I'll stay here again. Much better than a corporate hotel. Highly recommend.

The staff were so helpful without hovering, thanks Alice, George, Paddy and the team. It was a beautiful valentines. I couldn't even pause for breath while eating the belly pork. The last time I had pork this good was in Segovia in August 2024, a place renowned for it.

I've stayed at The Mews many times over the past 3 years, and I always look forward to coming back. The food is brilliant, the staff are great, and the atmosphere is lovely. I travel around the UK quite a lot each year, and this is always a welcome stop. Highly recommend a visit and stay. It stands head and shoulders above many pricier places nearby.

The staff were friendly and quick, and the rustic setting was lovely. Sunday lunch was delicious, lamb with all the trimmings, then crumble and custard, also delicious. Literally nothing to complain about.
