Katie was outstanding. She checked accessibility details with us before we arrived because of my husband's disability, helped find us a parking space in the pub car park by moving her own car, and helped us carry our bags up and down the stairs. Neil, who served breakfast, was excellent too. The staff were wonderful overall, the bedroom was very clean, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere warm and friendly. We gave location four stars, and everything else five. It was initially difficult to find parking because of residents' parking nearby. That was a particular issue for us because of limited mobility.

We had a memorable stay thanks to the friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent too, and the traditional pub's bar menu was very good and reasonably priced.

We had a wonderful Sunday roast lunch last Sunday, paired with a smooth stout. The Whole Baked Camembert with Garlic & Rosemary was a great start. For mains we had Roast Loin of Pork with Crackling and Cotswold Roast Leg of Lamb. The pork was beautifully cooked, juicy, tender and succulent, with addictive crackling. The lamb was spot on too. Recommended.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay for our 10 year anniversary trip earlier this week, despite the lower-star reviews. The room was quiet, clean and nicely decorated, and they accommodated our requests. They were also very gracious when we arrived later than we should have for Sunday check-in. Sorry again, Rea! They left some special items that made the visit memorable. One thing to know about parking: you need to hop the curb to park on the plaza in front of the inn. There may have been a sign, but I didn't see one. I probably missed it, though if there isn't a sign, it would be helpful to have one.

We had an 84th birthday party on a Sunday. Most people chose the roast or fish and chips, and both were amazing. The service was excellent. We'll definitely be back.
