A door led straight to the beach, and the sea and surrounding views made it a brilliant adventure and stay. Staff were lovely, knowledgeable and gave good recommendations. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff looked after guests well. Our room had a nice bath, but the bed wasn't comfortable and it wasn't very clean. There was lots of dust, and someone had dropped a glass. We didn't see it until my fiancé got a piece in his toe, then we found more shards around the toilet. Even with those room issues, we'd happily stay again.

Loved the fantastic old building, right on the sea front. We've been twice and will come again. The room was nice, and breakfast was great. The man running breakfast was very nice and kept everything looked after. Staff were really helpful.

We came to the area to visit a friend and booked afternoon tea. The hotel is right on the seafront, and our table had an excellent view. Everyone we met on staff was very nice and friendly. The traditional afternoon tea was lovely and, in my opinion, extremely good value. Thanks for the warm welcome.

The location is good, right by the seaside and within walking distance of town, with free parking. We came for a much-awaited break from work but got room #35, which really spoiled it. It overlooks the neighbours and their car park, there's traffic noise, and getting up and down the narrow stairs with no lift was a hassle. The building is old, carpets have patches over worn areas, and the windows were dirty all around. In the restaurant especially, there was dried bird poop on the windows. If you come here for a swim, this is the best place.

It's right on the seafront, with free parking that can be busy at times, and a good breakfast. The staff were really polite and helpful. Rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and clean.
