The Clydesdale

The rooms are always immaculate and comfortable, and the beach and town are both only a short walk away. Tommy and Diane make every visit special, looking after everything we need. We start with a fabulous breakfast, then get their tips on places to see, local events and good spots for food and drinks. I had another great weekend in Paignton with friends, and we're already looking forward to going back and spending time with them again.

Tommy and Diane know the area well and gave us useful ideas for places to visit and excursions. Their welcome made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the deluxe King size room, which was exceptionally clean, had great facilities and a bed I slept better in than any other. Breakfast was outstanding too. The beach and train station are about a 5 to 10 minute walk away. We had a really enjoyable holiday and will certainly return. Highly recommend, and thank you both. Erica and Paul x

Such a warm, comfortable stay, with a lovely atmosphere. Di and Tommy are a caring couple and nothing is too much trouble. I'd give them 10 out of 5 if I could.

Diane and Tommy are so kind, and they were always happy to help. Breakfast is unbelievable, with basically anything you could want, enough that you'd have to try to leave hungry. It's a lovely quiet place, with the main street about a 10 minute walk through a lovely park. I can't rate it highly enough and am going back next spring.
