Dinner at the Cairns restaurant was beautiful, and breakfast was lovely too. We stayed in one of the new luxury pods, which was spacious and clean, with the comfiest bed. There's also a cosy bar with board games and a roaring fire. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Our room was cosy, warm and very comfortable, with a great view across the golf course. We were there for one night on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal, and would happily stay again. The hotel looked spectacular for Christmas. Guests were stopping to take photos of the huge tree in front of the chunky wooden staircase in Reception. We had lunch in a quiet Cairns restaurant. The food was good, though the chicken burger was described as flame grilled and arrived in batter, which was odd. We enjoyed a G&T in the inviting bar before dinner. The meal at Eolas was fantastic, far beyond what we'd expected. The food was incredible and very fine dining, and the ambitious chef deserves the compliments. The service there was first class too, and deserves a special mention.

Murrayhall made our day together feel very special. We had afternoon tea by the window, with lovely views, and the food was first class. We couldn't finish everything, so took the rest home for supper. The young woman serving us was so helpful and described everything before we tucked in. Highly recommend. ❤️

We had a lovely, relaxing few hours with cocktails by the open fire, and our room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Monica in Eolas deserves a special thank you for making us feel so welcome despite not having expected extra guests. We'd just used a Christmas gift voucher for bed, breakfast and an evening meal. When we arrived for tea, our Cairns restaurant booking wasn't on the system, apparently one of the teething problems with the new system. They found us a table in Eolas instead, with the original menu, and the steak was amazing.
